Rules

Everyone in NNRP agrees to these standards.

Server & Roleplay Rules

General Conduct

  • Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, or toxicity is not tolerated.
  • No NSFW content anywhere in the community.
  • Follow staff instructions. Arguing in-channel is not the place — open a ticket.

Roleplay Rules

  • Semi-serious realism. Portray Northern Nevada public safety believably.
  • No RDM (random deathmatch) or VDM (vehicle deathmatch).
  • Value your life — react realistically to danger.
  • No fail-RP. Stay in character during operations.
  • New Life Rule: if you are downed and respawn, you forget the events leading to your death.
  • Powergaming and metagaming are prohibited.

Public Safety Operations

  • Follow radio discipline and the regional radio procedures.
  • Log calls, unit status, and dispatch through Regional Dispatch.
  • Supervisors authorize pursuits and use-of-force escalation.

Enforcement

Violations are handled by the Staff Team using the discipline matrix: warning → strike →

suspension → termination. Appeals are handled via ticket.

Public procedures

Community Code of Conduct

Northern Nevada RP is a semi-serious ER:LC community. We expect:

  • Realism first. Portray Northern Nevada public safety believably.
  • Respect. No harassment, discrimination, or toxicity.
  • Stay in character during active operations.
  • No fail-RP / RDM / VDM. Value life; escalate realistically.
  • Follow radio and scene discipline at all times.

Violations are handled by the Staff Team per the discipline matrix.

Regional Radio Procedures

All units operate on regional dispatch channels coordinated by Regional Dispatch.

Traffic Stop

  1. Advise dispatch: unit, location, plate.
  2. Await return before approach.
  3. Advise on subject count and status.

Priority Traffic

Use "Priority" to clear the channel for emergency traffic only.

Ten-Codes

Use plain speech when in doubt. Common codes: 10-4 (ack), 10-8 (in service), 10-7 (out of service), 10-97 (arrived), Code 3 (lights & sirens).
